Tonight on Tux-Junk, we celebrate the release, on this day in history, of "I Can't Explain," the first single by a little known rock band called The Who back in 1965.  Emerging from the pop art and mod movement of swinging London in the mid-60's, the Who started off playing as The Detours until drummer Keith Moon was added to their line-up.  Despite being beset by relationship difficulties amongst the members, drug addiction, and mental health issues, the Who went on to become one of the most influential bands of the 20th Century.  Best known for inventing auto-destructive art, (destroying their instruments on stage) The Who remains one of the best live bands of our generation.  Thanks, John, for letting me sit in and play my air guitar........          Suellen
